This is a typical scene in the park in the fall: tall grasses, cedar trees,
and prickly pear cactus.  The park was once used as a cattle ranch.

This is a view of the lake from the trail to Devil's Water Hole, at the 
far eastern end of the park.  Devil's Water Hole is formed where a small
creek drains into the lake and forms a small cove ideal for swimming.  
I don't know how it got the name.

We sat on a big rock by the lake for a long time enjoying the 
view as the sun got lower and lower.  It was really very beautiful.
